- winoweenie - 09-06-2006 Medium brite ruby. Nose redolent of plums, leather, spice, and some barnyard. All come over on the palate along with a note of earthy mustiness. Soft entry, mid-weight center and a solid 4 lapper finish. This has developed beautifully in the last year and should comntinue to improve for another 1-3. Super Santa B juice showing it's heritage in spades. WW 91/90 49 by the 6-pack(213 produced). 14% alc. WW - winoweenie - 01-14-2007 Opened this after tossing the Bel Air away. Not much new from the earlier post except maybe a little more definition on the nose. A superb pinot. WW - winoweenie - 03-07-2007 Goodbye ole' friend! Last of the 6-pack. A really superb rendition of the Central Coast varietal. Have the 04 resting comfy in the cellar. Superb producer. WW |
