- Drew - 09-06-2001 Wife working, me off, me grill salmon and grab last bottle of '94 BV Pinot Noir. Dark ruby/magenta with some browning. Nose of cola, tea and raspberries. Somewhat earthy with little fruit but explosive tea notes...the most I've ever experienced with a pinot. Good entry, solid middle but medium on the finish. Paired well with the grilled salmon but I think in a downward spiral. Drink em if you have em. 13%Alc./vol. Drew - winoweenie - 09-08-2001 I like to have most Pinots gone by their 7th year. Occassionally I'll take A Dehlinger or a W.H. Smith a lil' longer. I'll check tomorrow and see if'n I gots enny of the 94 BV left. WW |
