Showing more depth than the Goldride because of the older vines. Cherry, spicy, woodsy nose goes over to the palate. Soft and supple, the only derisive thing about this bottle is connected to the vintage, and considering, it is very well-done. 3&1/2-lapper. Will make for super drinking over the near term whilst waitin' fer the 99 and 97s' to get-it-on. WW 91/89.40 by the box. 14.5% alc. (Showing his true colors, I got a call from Tom Dehlinger yesterday telling me he was holding the shipment of my spring allocation because of the heat spell we're in. He also said if he saw a 2 day break in the 70s' he'd Fed-Ex at no additional up-snort)
