This is a re-try (a glass with dinner at Enoteca Vin). The wine hasn't lost anything since the last time I had it. It's not closed down either. I'm very happy that I purchased a few bottles. It was a nice light to medium-bodied red Burgundy with fruits not taking a backseat to wood. A decent match to chicken with crispy skin, tender white meat, polenta and porcini/chanterelle mushrooms.
I also tried 1.5 oz. pours of 2001 Cayron Gigondas (didn't really impress me) and 2001 Brothers-in-Arm Shiraz (okay--a little heavy tasting.
