Nice nose but very thin color, could almost read a newspaper through the glass. Very light on the palate, akin to Beaujolais. Kind of a weak sister, but suppose it has its place. 13% alc/vol and $14.99 at Costco a couple of months ago. With daughter's crock-pot pork chops, green beans, and risotto.

I'm so spoiled by the quality and rich variety of Italian wines these days that most Frenchies are being left in the dust.... and New World stuff ain't even in the hunt. YMMV, of course.
