13% alcohol
Imported by Vintner Select, Mason, Ohio.
Bright, vibrant dark fruits. Well balanced. Easy drinking.
With sweet and sour chicken and rice and also tasty with sharp cheddar cheese.
I've liked this wine since my first taste of it at a wine shop in Raleigh (five years ago?) Someone else brought a bottle to a Pinot Noirs around the world tasting in the DC area several years ago and it was the wine of the night (we had a price limit so no 1er cru or grand cru Burgundies in the tasting.)
It is still drinking well although I don't know how many years it has left. I've found some N-S-G wines to be masculine and slight rustic but this has a more genteel and elegant profile.

WoW, like you I am a fan of Bocquenet's wines. I think that they have terrific balance and do reach above their pay grade. I have a few of his '02's left so thanks for the heads up. I'll start tucking into them this holiday season!

Engineer, if any of yours are Grand Cru they may be closed now but the lower tiers are probably ready to drink.
