- wondersofwine - 01-24-2005 Oregon Pinot Noir and Burgundies. Yippee! - dananne - 01-24-2005 Seems we'll be drinking happily for many years! - joeyz6 - 01-24-2005 The '02s I've tasted have certainly shown well. - PinotEnvy - 01-24-2005 How do they compare to the 01s? I've been told 01 was a good year. I think it would be interesting to sit down with a bottle from each and compare head to head. I've never done that, but it would give me a chance to see if I, being a novice can tell the difference. - Bucko - 01-25-2005 Quite a run of good vintages in OR. 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 -- all nice vintages. Be careful with 2003 -- try before you buy -- it was a very hot year with high alcohol, low acids and poor balance in many wines. |
