Havwe been reluctant to post on this but as this is my 2nd bottle with the same result here goes. Nice brite med ruby. Muted nose. On the palate was almost reminiscent of drinking a sip of my favorite single malt AFTER my eldest had aer friends over and refilled the bottle to its' original fill with water. If this isn't the worst Oregon Pinot I've ever experienced then I go to my usual claim that "the memory's the 2nd thing to go". Somewhere south of 80. WW

Wow. This is a huge shocker. My first thought would be that the bottles were bad, and it sounds sort of like that from your description, but I know you've got excellent pushers and pristine storage yourself, so that probably doesn't explain it. I can't speak to the '06 Eason from experience, but we tasted both the '04 and the '05, which were lovely, as was Torii Mor's take on Elton fruit from '04. Actually, we've never had a bad wine from Patricia Green going back to '99, and that includes her value line called Dollar Bills Only. So, I'm rather stunned. Obviously, I'll take a pass on this '06 -- thanks for the forewarning, as they've got it in stock at one of my favorite local haunts, and I probably would have picked it up, given my history with PG. Yikes!
