Strong pinot prescence. Brite red fruits, earth, a touch of bacon, and cinnamon. The velvet palate is lovely. Lots of silky tannins bode well for another 2-4 of ageing. As usual, the flagship regular bottling from this reliable producer. 90/90. 14.4% alc. 40 on futures. WW

Took this to lunch yesterday with BRW, his CB and me own CB. Nose developing beautifully with some serious barnyard notes, warm saddle and earthy components. Still needs time to resolve some solid tannins but beginning to show the breeding and class of this flagship bottl;ing. Mite kick it up a point to 91. WW

Had another after warching one of my grand-daughters graduate from ASU. Nose developing, and a tad more intensity in the mouth. Kik-patootie bottling. WW
