- Karena Shannon - 01-12-1999 This was the first wine that we posted on, on the AOL Wine Board. Then, it showed quite well, especially after 90 minutes of swirling, waiting, and cursing <G>. Our positive experience was not to be repeated…This was a disappointing surprise. In short, the wine tastes watery, acidic, with no tannin, some overoaking, and seriously undeveloped cherry flavors. I don’t know if this is closed, horrid, has an aging curve that looks like tech stocks, or what… I’ve a few bottles of this left, and I’m going to open a lot of other Pinots before I even think of touching these again… |
