This was priced at $9.75 a glass and $38 a bottle at Noble's Grille in Winston-Salem.
13.5% alcohol
Deep Garnet color bordering on purple--pretty and bright appearance with semi-transparency. Floral nose of violets; also something truffly on the nose although some of that may have been notes from the wood.
This didn't match particularly well with either the acidic tomato basil soup or the Atlantic salmon with pesto sauce. It tasted a little heavier than the last La Crema Pinot Noir I had. It was better with food than without even though it was not the best match to either the soup or the salmon.
