- Drew - 08-31-2002 Dark garnet in color. Tea, cola, berries and spice on the nose. Nicely balanced flavors of raspberry, tea & cola with earthy side notes. Long finish. Paired with grilled blue fin tuna. Wonderful. $22. 14% Alc/vol. Drew - winoweenie - 09-01-2002 Sounds like you-alls be havin' fun. Headin' to the mountains today till Tuesday. WW - Thomas - 09-01-2002 Is this 100% P Noir? - Drew - 09-02-2002 The bottle doesn't indicate a blend and Sanford doesn't have a web site so I'm assuming yes. Why you ask? Drew - Thomas - 09-02-2002 The raspberry description makes me curious--that's all. - wondersofwine - 09-03-2002 I find raspberry flavors in some Pinot Noirs. The Sancerre pinot noirs sometimes seem to have more raspberry or strawberry flavors than cherry. - Scoop - 09-05-2002 I find Sanford Pinots consistently good up and down their product line, and a decent value compared with some other Cali/Santa Barbara PN producers.
