The heritage of this killer bottling is evident from the minute the corks pulled. Fred, in case you didn't remember, was the winemaker at Dehlinger for 10 years before he went on his own. Haven't found where he souced his fruit but this stuff is the tastiest 2-grand pinot I've had from anyone. Opaque, both red and black fruits, RRV spice, and a 4-lapper finish. Still some forceful tannins in the back that'll take another 2-3 to resolve. Super 1st bottling. 90/90. 30 per as futures. WW

Opened my 2nd bottle of this biggie for lunch with Copper River Salmon and spinach pie and, believe me, it held court. Still lots of tannins in the back but as stated earlier, give this sucker another 1-3 and it be GGGGOOOOODDDDDD.WW
