These seemed to get better with each bottle (consumed over a two-week period, not in one sitting.)

2001 Domaine Tollot-Beaune Aloxe-Corton
13% alcohol
Burgundy color and nearly opaque in a 5-oz. pour. Shows some transparency as the glass drains. Drinking smoothly but not showing much in complexity or secondary nuances. Fruity, balanced, not too tart. Pleasant by itself and would be a versatile food wine also. I had it with sloppy joes and home fries. Imported by Diageo. Purchased from Burgundy Wine Company.

1999 Serafin Pere & Fils Morey-Saint-Denis "Les Millandes" Premier Cru
Robert Kacher Selection
Purchased from Macarthur Beverages, DC
13.5% alcohol
Leggy on the side of the glass.
Somewhat earthy dark cherry flavor. Elements and tannins integrated. Straight forward. While I liked this a lot and would be willing to try other vintages from this producer, it didn't measure up to my recollection of the '99 "Les Millandes" from Herve Arlaud, which I recall as having more spice on the nose and palate.

2006 Joseph Drouhin Chambolle-Musigny
13% alcohol Purchased from Burgundy Wine Company.
Purple-red burgundy color; semi-transparent with viscosity. Floral and cherry nose.
Cherries on the palate. Very fine tannins. Medium body with medium to long finish. More ripe fruit than tart. More elegant than chunky. My rating would be in the 90-92 range which is somewhat remarkable for a village-level wine. Great with my Easter ham (and potatoes au gratin) but would also complement duck in cherry sauce or roast chicken. Maybe not showing the layers of a Grand Cru but so delectable for drinking right now. Simple, silky pleasure.

Nice trio of wines there WOW. I've been missing my burgs lately with all these outings.
