13.5% alcohol Purchased for $29.99 in 2005.
I really like this wine. Unfortunately, this may have been my last bottle.
Purple-red coloring paling at the rim. Semi-opaque. Leggy.
Nose of crushed dark berries with earthy underpinnings. On the palate, tart juicy fruit with slight bitterness, blueberry and black raspberry and herbal notes. Can be enjoyed on its own but also stood up to broiled strip steak. Not sure if it has further aging potential. Imported by Turner Wine Imports of Morrisville, NC.
