yesterday at the club as BRW and the Weener came storming out of the sabbatical sanctuary. Boy-Howdy does the Monty get your attention. Big, Bold, and Bootiful and shows Brian Ls' touch as surely as the Flamingos impatiently wait for spring to come in Oregon so Bucksnort starts wearing shorts again. The Shea also flexed some muscle. All the guys at the bar agreed that them dudes had "IT". Not enough attention given to really score either but rest assured they were both in the 90s. WW ( Forgot to mention both of these excellent vineyards are in Oregons' Willamette Valley)

Yesterday had some kid-types and G-Kid-types over for a spot of lunch. They'd never had a Pali so I opened the 06 Shea and the 06 Turner frum Sta.Rita Hills. The Sheas nose was classic with berries, flowers , horsey notes and a bit of dirt. Great juice that deserves a lofty score but again I was so engrassed in conversation again that a definative # wasn't a perogative but from memory I'd say a definate 92. 14% alc. The Turner was a tad heavier and the palate impression was weightier. Again no definate score but would give it the same as the Shea. 13.9% alc. WW
