- winoweenie - 11-30-2004 Clear brite ruby.Nose of red fruit, spices and a touch of leather. Solid entry, medium center and nice 3&1/2 lapper finish. Still some tannins to resolve but a very nice bottling from this venerable Oregon producer. 89/90. 27 by the box.13% alc. WW ( Make that PONZI. Fat-fingers strike agin') [This message has been edited by winoweenie (edited 11-30-2004).] - wondersofwine - 11-30-2004 That's the same rating I would give to Ponzi Pinot Noir. Your note reminded me that I have a bottle of a reserve waiting (earlier vintage). I may open it soon. |
