Made with grapes from Melissa Moravec at Casa Carneros.
14/2% alcohol
Color and opacity almost identical to the Casa Carneros Los Carneros mad by Melissa.
Longer finish than the 1998 Casa Carneros. Seems higher in alcohol though percentage listed is the same. Tastes somewhat extracted. On this tasting I would give the nod to the Casa Carneros.
Less volatile, more integrated on the second evening. Going downhill by the third evening.
