- TheEngineer - 11-30-2005 My first NZ PN, had in Washington at the restaurant in the Sheraton Arlinton. $8.00 a glass....what a markup....considering retail is less than $10 a bottle. Color is a garnet/ruby red. Nose of bright fruit, strawberries, and berry. Light in mouth feel with a decent acidity and low tannins. Simple fruity PN in the style of a Beaujolais Nouveau. Light, simple, fruit, and not much more. Perhaps this one had been opened a while. - Kcwhippet - 12-01-2005 National or Crystal City? - TheEngineer - 12-01-2005 National...the one with the Wind Tunnel design as the entrance to the hotel..... Maybe they have made some sort of marketing decision... |
