Does this mean you'll be changing your user name to "The wine drinker formerly known as Bucko?"

I suppose Riesling goes with dog meat too!

My Goodness, Having been off the loop for a while I come back to what seems like a tempest in a teapot. Catch, ole-cock-ole-bean,was it that time of month again? I`ve seen more cutting edge products in a McDonalds` Play-Gym. When you ask a question of this group of reprobates and they answer with no reference to your heridity, you`ve scored big-time.Damn I miss Curmy. Everyone who can`t make the celebration this Sunday in Sonoma, please join me in raising a glass at precisely 5 p.m. in remembrance.Winoweenie

This all maybe "ipso-facto" (?) but after reading something the other about wine with goat cheese I deceided to try some.
Question is what the hell do I do with it? If my cheese ain't wrap in plastic sheets I'm lost. Can it be consummed with crackers or is this more of a mixing item when cooking?
Waiting for GOUDA answer, Chuck

Bring your goat cheese to room temperature.

If you wish, you could mix it up a bit with some parsley and maybe a bit of garlic.

Serve it on Bremer crackers or on any type of water cracker - the cracker is basically tasteless. That way you can savor the flavor of the cheese.

Take a bite, enjoy the cheese and then take a sip of wine. Enjoy.................!!!

Goat cheese is also nice when matched with olives, or even floating in olive oil, and sprinkled with crushed black pepper.

Sometimes, I top up an omelette with goat cheese (do not squish it inside the omelette).
