I am new to this forum... so glad to have found it! I have recently found 6+ bottles of this wine in my cellar that I split w/ my ex-hub... I know NOTHING about French wines... can anyone tell me if this wine is still drinkable... what to possibly expect... what is it best enjoyed with...should I drink it NOW or leave it down? & some idea what it is worth?? It also says Crand Cru Classe Pauillac. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi TMF and welcome to the board. First off you have IMHO one of the finer bottlings from this fine vintage. No hurry to open them unless you'd like to impress a wine geek friend. Not sure of the price today but will check and get back. WW Looks like this bottle is selling at about 175 per on average.

Howdy TMF and welcome to the board. The CellarTracker community gives the drinking window for the '95 as 2003-2019, so there is indeed no hurry to drink up. Keep them in the cellar (ideally at 55-57F and 60-70% relative humidity), on their sides. Decant to remove sediment for at least one hour prior to serving with BEEF (NY strips, tenderloin, stroganof, etc.). Worthy of a special guest for dinner.

nice cellar find! sure wish i'd come across a six-pack of something like this in my wine fridge. not likely, i guess, cause i would have had to buy it in the first place.

Thanks so much for the replies! I am excited to give this a try.... though no wine geek friends to share it with! I will just have to enjoy it with my non-wine guy & hope he can grow an appreciation!! I very much appreciate the help on this! If I have any other discoveries in my newly "halved" cellar I will write here!
