his is a powerful but slightly short wine. Nose of dense orange Marmalade, apricot, honey, almost overpowering the botrytis and the chrystanthenum. Compact, powerful, heavy and rich, perhaps lacking in a nice acidic lift . Having tasted this three times in the past, I can say that this wine has not moved much from release. This bottle was perhaps slightly muted and shorter than the others, perhaps moving into the dumb phase, but still overtly enjoyable.

The wines has picked up a very nice bitter edge to the marmalade tangerine peels. Not much change in the notes above, Perhaps not as heavy as in previous years but still a GREAT bottle. Vey different than other sauternes and like tha tindividual character
