Hi all. I've got some notes to post as soon as I get home. I'm up in Paris for a few days with my pops. A question: Are Chateau La Louvière and Chateau de La Louvière the same thing? I read about the former on the Spectator's web site and I just saw a wine here with the latter printed on the label (at a very attractive price). I tried to find an image of the label online but I couldn't, so I'm hoping someone might have some insight as to whether I've found the one I read about. Thanks!

Found this in Stratsplace's label library:

Thanks Hotwine. How likely is it that the label has changed since 1989? Does that happen often in general?

Well-established houses seem to keep their labels with only minor tinkering year-to-year, since they are the primary means of recognition for consumers. But a Web search turned up a site for the owner/winemaker, Andre Lurton, which shows a primary label and a second. The primary is for the Ch. La Louviere, and the second is for the Ch. de La Louviere. See http://www.andrelurton.com/anglais/sommaire.html and click on the button along the top for Labels.

You got it. I just went back over to the store and saw that it is the same producer (the André guy) but this must be the second bottling. Thanks for the help.
