What is a chaisen-chardonnay and what region does it come from?

I checked all my on-line and book references. There's no listing anywhere for the name or term chaisen. You'll have to provide more info.

Re: Chaisen-chardonnay: It's French. The winery is L'Orval. I used to find it at Cost-Plus Old World Markets.
More Info: correct spelling Chardonnay Chasan
