- TheEngineer - 10-07-2009 I love the Raisin D'Or version of Aligote from Michel Lafarge but have yet to find a regular Aligote that really perks my interest. This one didn't either. Light and minerally but very little fruit or structure, mostly just austere with some notions of citrus. Disappointing. - wondersofwine - 10-07-2009 Add some creme de cassis for a true Kir. More interesting that way. - TheEngineer - 10-07-2009 Ahh...i did not knwoyou could do that to Aligote. I always just added Cassis to Champagne...poor champagne that is. |
