- andrawes76 - 04-04-2009 Guys and Gals, I am hosting a Mexican food party tomorrow. Any recommendations on some good wines? Also serving black beans and rice. Starting with tostados... - Innkeeper - 04-04-2009 Zin, Zin, Zin, Zin, Zin, and some Zin. - hotwine - 04-04-2009 Personally, would prefer a Rioja or Garnacha. For the former, the '01 Gran Familia Reserva is 100% Tempranillo and drinking nicely at about $14.50 (Costco). For the latter, the '06 Ateca/Zabrin Calatayud Garnacha de Fuego Old Vines is awfully hard to beat at all of about $7.50. - andrawes76 - 04-04-2009 Mmmm sounds good.
