Hi. I am planning on giving bottles of Louis Latour's Pouilly-Fuissé to the partners at the law-firm where I work, as Christmas presents. I understand Pouilly-Fuissé is not a top-notch wine for wine-connoisseurs, but that it is a fine wine nevertheless. Besides, we have always enjoyed at home the quality of Louis Latour's wines. Am I giving a good present or should I instead purchase a finer wine? I really appreciate your help. Thank you.

EddieDude welcome. Holiday giving, IMHO, is #1 giving from the heart and #2 staying within a budget that I choose, not others expectations...sounds like you answered your own question. Wine is not about trophyism, it's about drinking.
