2003 Grgich Hills Chardonnay Paris Tasting Commemorative Napa Valley
Definitely a step up but so was the price. I’m not sure if it is justified. Much more concentrated and fuller bodied than above. Nice nose with a hint of burgundy style (old oak and all). Nice richness with dense tropical flavours, pineapple, and spices, but feeling a bit fat at the end. Definitely no at $73.....lots of cheaper and better Meursaults at fraction of price.
