13% alcohol Priced at $29.99 but on sale for $24.99. From Gueguen's oldest premier cru vines.
Purchased at Carolina Wine Company. Imported by Turner Wine Imports, Morrisville, NC.

Rapture in a glass! Pale straw color with transparency. Flinty structure added to lip-smacking fruit for a terrific package. Balanced acidity. Not bad with smoked Gouda cheese or tarragon chicken salad but very inviting as a stand-alone sipper as well. Goes down so easy due to the balance. Unwooded as far as I can ascertain.

Reportedly rated 91 points by Burghound (Allen Meadows) and it would receive a rare rating in the 90's from me. ]

That sounds like a great buy at that price too.

Yes, a great price. I think they are sold out but if not I will order more. I am presently drinking a Verget Chablis Premier Cru that cost about $20 more and I don't like it as much as the Gueguen.
