1999 Hogue, Chardonnay, Fruit Forward Series, Columbia Valley, $10, 90,000 cases. Pear and delicate tropical fruit notes highlight the nose. Yellow delicious apple and pear flavors are up front, with hints of banana, minerals and sweet oak on the finish. Good value if you like the style.
