Have any ideas on which wine(s) would pair well with corned beef brisket and cabbage? Thanks so much!

Over the years, the most frequently mentioned wine around here has been a California field blend red such as Marietta's Old Vine Red or Red's from Laruel Glen. Also, Bonny Doon Big House Red.
