Similar to its 2006 sister, with much the same stuffing but missing the overall balance of the 06, the wine is ver perfume and is very tight, perhaps time will allow this to open up but I doubt it will be the equal of the 06.

I can't find my other posts on this wine that I thought I had. but those of you who have followed this wine from me knows of my ups and downs. The 06 was fantastic. This one has been much more variable. Weell tonight, it was GREAT. Lush smooth, easy but with enough structure to hold up with wine and food. Easy power, greatr density of stuff. Lovely tonight.

Another couple of years and it was time to check in on this bottle. It has moved somewhat though I'm not sure if that is the bottle variation I've seen or if it really is more evolution.
But it was overall very nice. Still superlush and smooth, a bit more mellow than I remember the last one to be. Time to start to check in on these and consume them over the next few years and then move onto its big brother.
