- Drew - 02-27-2001 I've always liked this Cab but I think it's southbound now. Clear, dark cranberry color. Nose of black fruit and a touch of oak. Slightly bitter flavors of mature plum, alcohol and a touch of oak. Nice long finish but the fruit seems to be fading. Very smooth but needs a little more acid. 13.5% Alc/vol. Drew - Drew - 11-25-2001 I have 2 remaining of the '94 and popped one tonight. Clear dark ruby. Nice nose of dried cherries and plum, menthol and a little vanilla. Very balanced, no drying tannins. A little more complex in the age department, very smooth with a 20 second+ finish. Nice wine but on the downslide. Drew - Innkeeper - 11-25-2001 Drewski broke the code on how to have his own thread. - mrdutton - 11-26-2001 I thought that I'd done that a while back.........
