I really liked their 04's but this one is very different. Much more structure and very tight on opening. Definitely needed the decanting. Once opened, it was a structured napa valley cab, very different from the Jordan that was opened at the same time. More complex than the Jordan and less ripe, lush and soft. Higher levels of acidity also. I preferred this wine more and more as the night progressed.

Opened one tonight at home. This wine seems to be in a strange place right now. On opening, it has a huge ripe nose. Riper than the last bottle I had, but also a bid discombolulated. Dusty tannins, sweetish, finishes rather hot. There is also a distinct metallic hit I'm getting at the end....might be the food that I had earlier in the night. Thai food with MSG.... I've got a bit of a headache from that anyways.
