Another cellar miracle. Aged at average 70 degrees F, this 24 year old monster is still a baby. I could have been arrested for transporting it across a state line to commit statuatory grape.

Big, really big, blackberry, black cherry and cassis fruit...still hard as nails but still has beaucoup fruit to go with it. This is a California Cab with at least another ten years to go. Winemaker Dick Arrowood's Cabs at St. Jean were never commercial successes in the early days because they were just too damned big. Thankfully, he learned to moderate a little in later years and after he opened hid own place, Arrowood Winery, down the road.
