Poor, just plain poor. Started out with nome nice red fruit, especially cherries. Then lost it in a hurry. Very poor QPR. Maybe an 85...

When did you buy this and how was it stored? Nothing relates to my tasting notes. WW

Bought it upon release from local shop. Picked up the day it was delivered, so storage shouldn't have been an issue. Maybe a bad bottle. No TCA or Brett, but it did have a very green nose to it after an hour open. Spectator gave it an 87. I didnt' even see that. Of course they gave the 01 Montelena Estate a 69, so go figure. All I can vouch for is my experience which was sub par. THe WS review is below:

Cola and coconut aromas lead to a firm band of spice- and currant-laced Cabernet fruit that picks up a cedary edge on the finish, where the tannins become more evident, giving the aftertaste a drying sensation. Drink now through 2008. 55,195 cases made. (JL)
