On second thought, this should probably be in the Wines Without a Category forum, but I've seen some Cab Franc postings here, I believe. Anyway, here goes . . .

Dense reddish-purple color, and nose of dark fruits, cocoa, and roses. Weighty midpalate, good, round, black raspberry fruit and some chocolate notes. Very fruit forward. Nice long finish. After warming up, a bit of tartness on the finish, but pleasant overall. Didn't decant, but likely will on the next one. 14.5% alc, which seems a touch high, though there wasn't any heat. Napa Valley. Bought it at Whole Foods on sale at $20.
