Another couple of great bottle from the Okanagan region. Bucko, not sure if you have tried these two but they could not be more different in style but both have pulled it off.

Popular Grove, almost a cultish bottle in BC, deep purple, great smooth wine, lots of structure, perhaps a bit too much wood for me, but nicely done. Good components of the Cab Franc in there giving that apiciness to the wine. Great smooth texture, and some noted that this was similar to good Northern Napa Valley Cabs. Very modern in style and the more opulent of the two.

Osoyoos Larose, also 03, much more balanced and elegant in style, less overt wood, much more balanced. More my style and evidently well made. Not showing the full potential of the estate yet but promising in this their 3rd vintage. Wow, lovely stuff.

i have never tasted Larose, but yes i have definitely tasted Pepperwood Grove Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, it has the avors of rich blackberry cobbler, fresh raspberry jam, and caramel oak tones with integrated hints of basil and fresh figs.

That's Popular Grove, not Pepperwood Grove.
