Sonoma County.

Didn't expect much, but it was recommended by a friend as a nice everyday Cab blend, and the price was right at $12. Pretty yummy stuff. Dark ruby color. Currant and cherry flavors with some oak and smooth tannins at the back end. Very easy to drink and easy to like as a daily drinker. IMHO, good value here. Saw that WW has had some of the '94s, including as recently as '04. Have no idea how it would age, but it's drinking so nicely out of the gate that the point is kinda moot. Alc. 13.5%. Blend is 48% Cab, 30% Merlot, 13% Cab Franc (which gives the nose a bit of a floral quality), and 9% Petit Verdot.

Has been a staple in the cellar for over 15 years. Always seems to have the balance to drink early and have staying power. WW
