An update on this lil' booger. Nose is getting more prominate with each opening. This bottle has just about hit its' stride. Should hold for another 5-10. WW

I have some of the 91'.... any recent notes on it?

- winoweenie - 02-23-2002

Think it's been all drunked-up. My last note ( but not necessarily the last bottle) said the wine was there and should hold 4-5. It was dated 2-00. WW

Sounds like I know what i'll be drinking tonight then.... thanks!

funny I just searching west coast network and everyone (about 10 people) who drank this over the last 2 years said it was an oaky mess and was only to be used for cooking. Why is it that there can be such a huge difference of opinion on a wine?

What vintage are these 10 or so talking about? What are they going to cook with it, wood?

- winoweenie - 06-26-2002

Leatherman I can assure you that 9 out of 10 of those assesments were made by people with less than desirable storage or the wines were not pristine on purchase. WW

I am referring to the 95. I bring this up because I am afraid to serve this at a dinner I am having if it turns out to be all oak. I'll keep you posted.

Leatherman, if them dudes be stored good, open and watch'em beam. WW

OK there ole' "Covered-in-Cow" Did you have the bazongas to serve the 95 and if so, how be it? WW

- leatherman - 07-16-2002

Thanks little wino for reminding me but its been so hot lately that I have been sticking to Tecates and the occasional Zin. Maybe in the fall when it cools down a bit. I will post my op when I do WW.
