Found a pair of these hiding so with some trepidation I pulled one for lunch yesterday.Medium ruby with light bricking. Pleasant nose. Light funk blew off in 5 minutes. Surprisingly sprightly and still fruit driven. Nice entry, medium center and a 3+ lapper. Definately on the down-snort but all-in-all a pleasnat drink. Could have been outstanding 2-3 years ago. 87/91 21 by the box.13% alc. WW

Might have fared better if it was the Red Mountain Reserve. Have you tried the Kiona Red Mountain Lemberger? If not it's worth a go at least for one bottle. Delicious juice!!

They do have an excellent Lemburger, and I think they were the first in WA to bottle it. Two Mtn also does a good job with that grape. The last time we were out there, we spent some time at Kiona drinking with their grandson in their basement. He was home from Gonzaga for the summer, and Anne drank everything he poured as he and I talked Zags hoops

We particularly enjoyed their ice wine, and they're also making a good Sangiovese. Another oddity is a syrupy Zin that clocks in at over 17% alc. It doesn't even try to be a table wine. Of course, we also bought their Reserve Red Mtn, which as Bob says is a great wine, and particularly wonderful for the price.

We enjoyed a couple of the '97 Cabs back in '03 when they were drinking fine. We had traded a couple of Collio Merlots to CCK for them. They were comparably priced at the time.
