Opened another jug of this blend last nite. About at the summit. Seems like all the components are meshed and seamless. 74% cab, 2% malbec, 9% merlot and 15% cab franc. The florals from the cab franc is now a component of the nose and palate adding a touch of complexity. A fine bottle that should drink well for the next 5-8. 90/92, $16 on release. WW

Verne, I've heard the Cain ain't up to snuff in recent vintages...comments?

I think Mitch has not paid as much attention to biz since the 94 vintage. IMHO he has produced a magnificient bottling with the CVE2 of the Cosentino bottling of 97. I don't have any opf his regular bottlings since this pretty 94.. (ie. youse be rite)
