Deep ruby. Nose of black, plummy fruits with light sweet spices and a sqirt of vanilla. All come over on the palate. This 2nd tier wine from Merryvale has developed beautifully and is about at the top of its' game. Will hold nicely for another 5-8. 89/89. 40 by the box. 14.5% alc. WW

Boy did I call this like Willy Wonka! Opened one to watch me KU Jays get their brains caved in by them Kentuck Bullies. This has developed into a solid outstanding bottle. There's still enough siupple tannins to carry this booger 2-4. Hopefully none of youse smarties killed a baby because of ole' " Leather-Tongues " mis-diagnosis. WW
