A worthy sucessor to the marvelous 96 we had last week. More complex, with heady nose of dark fruits, cassis, and sweet spices. Noticible tannins still on the palate that needs another 2-4 to resolve. Deep ruby. Solid entry, weighty center and a killer 4$1/2-lapper finish. 91/90. 65 by the box. WW

I like their Cabernets and have a couple from 2000 that I'm letting mature a bit. The $65 ones must have been the C.S. Reserve.

Sorry to say, I have never had any wine from Z.D. - ever. Where are my manners?

Judy carries them in her purse. WW

Not lately.

Had this for lunch yesterday and any one with this baby in the cellar take note....You Be One Lucky Sucker!!! The nose has improved, the fruit is integrated and the tannins have resolved. Hitting on all cylinders and as at as high a point as is possible. Kick this hummer up to a solid 93. Drink-up and enjoy. WW
