Holy Moly I jes' committed infanticide! This purple hulk almost walked out of the bottle unassisted. Did some chores for an hour and on returning found a small chink in the armour. Black fruits, clove, olive, and coffe hit the ole'schnozolla and the entry was the same, full and powerful. Good center and a finish that was shut down immediately by a wall of tannins. I'm leavin' the rest of these hummers alone for at least another 3 and will re-start the engines. Has OP.
( and the price was 20 bucks) WW

Those tannins may still be there when the fruit has left town on permanent vacation.

Have run into this before with the Mt Veeders' Bucki-mon and outside of the 82 and 83s' they've all come around and become some lovely bottles. The tannins are not out of balance with the massive doses of fruit. (Ole leather-tongue WW )
