95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot.
I offer the vineyard's tasting notes as I found them spot on.

Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this wine come from two vineyard sources in the Napa Valley. Howel Mountain and the Yountville foothills. The Merlot is sourced from Oak Knoll.
Tasting Notes: Beautiful color with penetrating aromas that begin with a presence of black currant, graphite, hints of earth and undertones of espresso. Bright yet plush, with black cherry, blackberry, currant, licorice, chocolate and smoke flavors, all neatly layered for complexity. Firm, solid tannins provide good structure, weight and a great mid]palate grip. Long finish rounds out this wine.

This wine is very much on the earthy side with a gaggle of tannins. I opened way too early but if you can sift between the tannins I think a beautiful wine will emerge in 5+ years. Paid $21 but see on the net the availability under $20 which makes it a good QPR. 14.4% Alc/vol.
