Deep opaque ruby/purple. Solid nose of jammy black fruits, cassis, bakers cocoa and spices. All come over on the palate along with pencil shavings. Big entry, heavy-weight center and another solid 4&3/4 lapper finish. Mr Barrett just keeps the hits acomin'. 93/9449. 14.5% alc. WW

Decided on this for lunch yesterday. Nose has expanded tremendously. Blackcurrent fruits with spices all tied into sweet oak. The moutfeel is dense and concentrated on the fruit. Still needs another 1-2 but offers some seriously good drinking now. Could possibly kick the scoring up a point but will wait till next level. WW
