Found this sucker hiding behing a magnum so drug him out for lunch today. Deep ruby. Loads of fine sediment that wasn't too detrimental. Nose had earth, mature red fruits and some floral notes. Soft entry, medium center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. The fruit seems to be fading and the acid is coming to the front so IMHO if you have this baby, DRINK UP. 85/88. 29. 13.5% alc. WW

Thanks for the heads up. I have a 93' that is probably dead in the bottle. I'll try it and if it's bad I'll give it to my brother. He's like Mickey. He'll drink anything!

I also have a 97' that I will open soon as well.

I will post notes on both.

The '97 was singing a year ago. Was giving no hint of nodding off. I also wouldn't give up on the '93. You never know....
