Anything in particular people think would pair nicely with tomato sauce seasoned simply with basil, garlic and oregano?

I would say Barbera or Chianti. Foodie would say Primitvo or Nero d'Avola. Why the difference? I like acid with acid. He likes contrast. Take your pick. Thought it was going to be easy, did you?
