What a wine. This major player for wine of the vintage has just kept improvin' along. Deep ruby with a nose of dark fruits, essence of cassis, sweet spices and a cocoa complexity that makes for a heady come-on. SAfeter being seduced by the nose, it gives the same stuff-n-such on the palate. Sizzling entry that dances with a piroutte around the tongue, tap-dances thru the center palate and waltzes for 30 seconds on the finish. I did a double take when I saw the price I paid for this lushly. The best cab I've ever experienced from Daves' foine vineyard. Musta had Bucko do his pricing-tasting as he sold this baby at 50 cents on the dollar.WW 92/96 22 by the case.
